Formed in 2000, Apex Demolition are a Peterborough based demolition specialists operating in the demolition, asbestos removal, site remediation, bulk earthworks, site clearance and waste management services with a collective 80 years of experience. Based at our Head Office in Cambridgeshire, we currently operate on a nationwide basis servicing our extensive portfolio of industry-leading clients. As a result of several prestigious multi-million pound project awards in London, we have taken the decision to open a secondary office in Romford to further establish our foothold in the country’s capital. This enables our operations and management teams to manage projects across the entirety of London and the surrounding area more effectively. As our clientele and our project portfolio continues to grow, we aim to establish offices on a nationwide basis which will enable us to provide our services to all corners of the country.

art’otel Shoreditch with Banksy Mural Removal
We have recently completed the enabling works on the highly anticipated art’0tel project in the centre of Shoreditch. Our works included extensive asbestos removal, full scaffold & monarflex to facilitate top down hand demolition, high reach demolition and the removal of a 9.5m deep basement which was bounded by 3 major highways.
Before the structure could be demolished, the 2 Banksy Murals on the rear of the building had to be fully encased in a steel frame and crane lifted from the building. Apex took full responsibility for the design, supply and installation of all temporary works associated with the art removal.
BBC, ITV and several other news outlets attended site on the day of the lift for coverage of the movement of this popular art work.

Mark is the owner and founder of the Apex Group since 2000. Mark oversees all the operational side of the business and has worked on some prestigious projects such as the Olympics Development for 3 years. Mark is a full member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers and carries over 30 years of earthworks, haulage and demolition knowledge.
Tony has been with Apex for 16 years but has a previous 30 years’ experience in the plant, haulage and earthworks industry. Starting out with JCB, there isn’t much Tony doesn’t know that is worth knowing. Tony oversees the contracting and haulage side of the business looking after the landfill sites, recycling centres, waste transfer station and the fleet of vehicles, plant and associated labour.
